Why not be grateful that you got 30 listings for free?  It is not many places that you can advertise and get such a wide exposure and pay nothing.  actually most places you will end up paying much more than on eBay.  bet even your local paper, with circulation of few thousands, will charge you more than $3 for only couple of lines ad, and no photos. 🙂

And yes, eBay is a business, and their aim is to make money, and it takes money to maintain it.  Do you think that such a huge website is running all by itself?
