Do you know the only change I have noticed with PayPal since the most recent fiasco is that the buyer's name (instead of their email address) appears in the 'from' section of the email notification (and by name, I mean whatever name was used to make the purchase, not the name entered in the delivery address section). 

Seems to be a lot of glitches in the wake of whatever recent updates they did, so I hope it wasn't all to effect such a minor, ultimately cosmetic, change. :^O
