I just checked my stars and noticed that my postage time star was missing an arm....along with the as described star. I went and ran a few DSR reports to see who left what and found the culprit. A buyer who left me great feedback, but gave me 4 stars for everything.

I was really miffed at the postage time one because I posted WITHIN AN HOUR of him paying. My handling time on that item was 4 days and I posted within an hour of payment and he still felt the need to mark me down.

He lives in some way out remote place in far north Qld, so sent him a message saying I had posted and that it could take 2-3 weeks to arrive due to his remote location and the time of year. He replied, thanking me saying it will get there when it gets there. He paid on the 8th Dec, I posted the 8th Dec and he received it on 12th Dec. FOUR DAYS. The eBay estimates earliest date was Dec 15, so he got it 3 days EARLIER than the earliest estimate.

As far as being as described, I thought I'd described it pretty well, even pointing out a few defects with the item.

The postage cost, I charge $8 for a small parcel. I don't feel that is too much of a mark up, but obviously he did.

I am really pished about this because I worked damn hard to keep my 5 stars. I had just got my as described star back to 5 after someone defected me with a 3 star.

I know I shouldn't be worried because I didn't get a defect, but buyers can still see my stars that are missing an arm and it reflects badly on me.

I now have a new addition to my special party list. I have also appropriately replied to the positive feedback he left in case anyone else who values their stars wants to add him to their party list too.
