There are so many sites that get some of their revenue from those types of advertisements that I can do my own Ad Blocking, it doesn't matter how many flashes, bells and whistles they have I just don't notice them anymore. At least with ebay they are always in the same place so you can very easily choose not to look and if the companies are prepared to pay ebay thus keeping my fees down then good on 'em!
