Yes we had a low key family Xmas. Were have a 4-yo in the house so that always keeps it in perspective.

We found out some more today about our missing box from China....

It seems it was rejected in Sydney by Australian Customs for some reason. We don't know why.

It was then returned to the shipping company in Shanghai, China. They did not tell us about this.

They have since re-packaged it and sent it back to us again.

They also don't understand why customs in Sydney rejected it. There's nothing illegal in it. Just crochet headbands.

So now it is in transit back to Australia again.

 

All very confusing really. So now we just have to wait again as apparently it is not lost just in trasnsit.

Update.....
The shipment arrived with us on Friday. Had been back to Shanghai repacked by the shipping agent and then sent again. We are still none the wiser as to why Sydney customs rejected it. Perhaps we will never know.
Ah well we now have our well travelled stock we ordered. All is good.

What about the letter that was addressed to Heidelberg in Victoria sent from Queensland, it arrived eventually to the correct address via Germany.

I've had a letter addressed to Darwen in Wales, UK delivered to my post box of the same number in Darwin NT.Woman LOL

I also had a package rejected by customs recently but mine was from Bulgaria. No notification it was rejected they just sent it back, and no information why it was rejected when I asked Australia post about it. Here's hoping it gets through a second time.
