PS: Windoze 8 is ghastly! I still have 7, my husband has 8 and I quite often hear him swearing at it and threatening to steal my computer.

I have two eBay accounts, I use Chrome for my other account, but in Windows 8 I am finding the text very tiny, just wondering if the text will be tiny with Firefox if I download that.  I really do appreciate your advise... thank you.

I find adjusting my display settings in the control panel to larger text works for me.

Alternatively you use your control key with + or - to zoom in and out when you are on the web
