IF Aust Post  sorters are going to reject a letter  with correct postage because it has tape on the stamps, and redeliver it to the sender... what is the point in doing that?

Doesn't confuse me.

I don't believe there is any rule that states you can't put tape over stamps to secure them if necessary.
