hi thanks for your replies 🙂 I opened a store about a month ago and when I posted on these forums with my selling id a fellow poster gave me a friendly warning about my listings as they said they didnt comply with the multi variant listings. So as I wasnt sure which ones were wrong and which ones were right I deleted about 1/2 my listings and have been too scared to anything since. So I'm trying to work out where I went wrong before I get myself in trouble.
Would say beyblades with different names go in one listing or have a listing each? or say if I sold pens in lots of 5, 10, 20 or 100 would that be a multi variant listing?
Oh also can you list multivariant listings on an iphone/ipad ?:)
As there is no option currently to list items like toys and collectibles with a variation listing, it's kind of a moot point - I'm not sure how your other listings were breaching policy, but just be aware of the fact that if you list an item in the incorrect category just to be able to make use of the variant format, that is also a policy breach.
Quantity is an acceptable variation for the same item, so if you have some items that can be correctly listed with the variation format, you can list them in different lot sizes.
I'm afraid I can't answer the question re: iphones. I don't have one, although... If you find it doesn't work using an app, try using the classic site. There are apparently some functions that either don't work properly or aren't available on the apps, but work fine if you use the classic site.
