My take would be that you have brought your problems on yourself by continually playing with things you admit you have no idea of.

I run Win 8, Malawarebytes and Avast. My computer runs fine, I don't get hacked. But I am not paranoid, and don't play with things that already work, even though I probably have a bit more expertise than you.
