I am not a bear person so I will just make a couple of  points.

Obviously the signature would be a great help, but if it can't be deciphered, it can't be useful.

You could check eBay completed and current listings for "limited edition teddy bear" - apparently lots of people made / make them - the edition of 300 may help you here.

And try Googling images for the same. Hopefully you may see something that looks similar, particularly with the label on the foot (I am assuming it is a label.)
