Refund has not been proccessed

I bought items from China. They have a representative in Sydney, Australia. After the items arrived, I noticed they were not working, so I returned them using registered post.

However, due to family reasons, I went overseas and wasn’t able to track the refund. After two months, I checked my bank account and saw that the refund had not been processed.

In the meantime, eBay closed the case, and now I am unable to communicate with eBay about the refund.

What should I do? The items are worth 500 AUD.
