Yes I did try that link thank you. I even signed out, and attempted to sign in with my email address (instead of username) and get the same result. I have been trying to get Ebay for nearly a month now, to look into it.

After creating my ebay account I changed my username from the automatic generated one to something that resembles part of my email address, would this be the cause? There was no warning to say I couldn't change it to what I did though, and it successfully changed.

You can only change your user name once in 30 days.
If it was changed in mid December you cannot do it again till mid January.

Yes that's correct, but ideally I would still like to access my Personal Information webpage to check and keep my details (address, mobile, email) up to date for Security reasons, etc. All that is shown is the error I posted above.

Have you tried other browsers?
What doesn't work with one often works with others.

I was able to contact the eBay Customer service through the online Chat portal. After a recommendation of a potential fix from them, unfortunately, I was still getting the same error message. The guy from eBay even said he was getting the same error message on his end as well. He said it was a bug and so he has escalated the issue up to the technical services department and has asked me to try again in 24-48 hours, so I will let you all know how I go.
As for the recommended fix he asked me to do, I thought I would tell you incase it fixes it for someone else. He asked me to delete all my browser history and delete cookies and open eBay in new browser window and try again. Unfortunately this got me the same error message.

What a sledgehammer suggestion - to delete the history and cookies when using another browser would achieve the same.
I use Chrome, but Edge and Opera produces the same "Sorry...." message. I've been waiting a month for a solution from Ebay with many promises.

As I mentioned as well to the eBay support and in my post replies. I have tried different devices, including tablet, Android phone, desktop and laptop. All with different browsers, Chrome, Firefox, Edge, even IE11. I never used ebay on these other devices but I still cleared cache as it seems the common resolution to apply, which is kind of pointless for me when i've never used ebay on my other devices.

Don't ever bother with IE.....ebay has not supported it for a number of years now.
A few posters still use it on the boards but otherwise it is useless.
