All 'roads' lead to "Sorry..."

After two months and four approaches to Ebay, it is fixed and I can now change the personal contact information previously blocked by a "sorry" message. It was evidently a known problem for some users according to the Chat consultant.

Ebay seems to have a policy of not advising when a problem is remedied.
