The moder design would work for a child who doesn’t know what they want to buy but for long term eBay users the design gets worse and worse every year. I absolutely loved eBay decades ago and bought nearly everything on there.   Now it’s my least favorite site to use and I rarely make purchases.  All the promotion banners and attempts to make it funky do not fit onto a web page without ruining functionality.
