Oh, good, that will improve the gene pool of those I already have here 🙂
I did manage to get the tree early in the morning on one of the really cold days close to Xmas (Saturday) and put it straight in the water; it smelled beautiful, and the branches I trimmed off the bottom are still in a vase and look quite fresh. We took the tree down, I needed the space and have better things to do than watching the dogs who had their sight firmly set on the fragile glass ornaments 🙂
I think i will do the same next year though. I thought about getting plastic one for next year, but it is not the same.
