Is it any wonder then that lifelong relationships are diminishing at a more and more rapid rate.
Do not misconstrue what I am about to say bit read the words instead of assuming to know what is meant by them.
if the mutual attraction between the genders is diminished mutual respect will be a casualty.
Mutual respect is the solid foundation on which successful relationships are constructed , without a solid foundation relationships will crumble and fall.
Around 40% of marriages fail and that is marriages, you know the ones that took the commitment in the first place.
I would hazard a guess that among those who have not taken the marriage commitment it if much higher than 40%.
I am not saying that feminisn is the cause for that percentage but the rate has certainly increased since Greer got into the act.
There are a lot who will say that Greer did a lot of good and perhaps so but Greer also did a lot of harm to the children of the increased percentage of marriage and partnership breakdown.
There are no less and less numbers of couples who are prepared to take the commitment of marriage yet the newborn population has not decreased. What of those unwed mothers with a child or children? And the children of unwed and unpartnered parents?
