We used to make them years ago with Salada Crackers, make your own custard, put in a tupper ware container.

Having friends over for lunch today and after years of making very yummy cheesecakes.....for some unknown reason I put vanilla extract in the mix AAAAAAHHH!!!!

Sorry, I don't cook much so don't know these things  😄

I am guessing the vanilla extract is a bit strong. 

Mum used to make vanilla slices with lattice biscuits. I think she used a cheesecake type filling though. Must ask her. She probably won't remember though 😞
