Good old parsley sauce covered a multitude of sins.

One thing I remember though which I loved was dripping on toast.

What a treat.

You think that was bad. I grew up on a farm. We butchered our own sheep and we didnt waste anything. One thing I still remember clearly is the smell and taste of boiled sheeps brains spread on toast.            Smiley Sad

Tripe and onions in white sauce.....smoked cod in parsley sauce......both with mashed potato and peas.....yummo.

You have given me a few ideas for meals next week.

I also like ox kidney.....I make kidney and steak pie, not the other way round.

My American grandmother sent us this game sometime in the mid-50's...........cootie.jpg
