Shes still not back on any meds though.
Im getting pretty down, guess its the time of year and realizing its another Chrissy going by and not haveing any improvements.
Plus, im getting really upset by dad.
He never asks about my kids and if i start to tell him about them he quickly changes the subject.
I really miss having a mum to share my kids achievements with.
Dad just doesnt care. He will tell me about a bowls game for 1/2 hour but wont let me finish a sentance about the kids.
And if i say "hey, ive got news on the kids that you can tell mum".
He just says "dont bother, i'll forget it by tomorrow".
I sat and cried for ages after my last call with dad on the weekend.

Maybe he can't handle being reminded of what your Mum is missing out on Amy?
In any case I hope you manage to have a happy xmas. Your Mum would want that for you and your beautiful kiddies. 🙂

Its not that. He's never ever shown an interest in my kids.
Yet, i am supposed to sit and listen about his stories about strangers playing bowls.
I talked to my sister about it and last night she made a point of saying she had called me and that i was telling her some stuff about the kids and dad completely cut her off.
Both she, and my hubby say that i should say something to him.
Something like "Hey dad, im really not interested in what these strangers are doing at bowls, but i would like to tell you what your grandkids are doing and i hope that you will then pass that onto Mum, their grandmother cause i know she would like to hear about it".
You know, the worst was a few weeks ago my daughter turned 9. My dad rang and said "Let me say Happy Birthday to Breanna". So i put Breanna on the phone and dad goes "yehh, Happy Birthday. Put your mum back on now"

Dad is also sick. Problems with his kidneys and he's having to have tests done.
Dad and I "had words" the other night about the problem i mentioned above.. It didnt go very well and i ended up crying on the phone.
But my sis just rang and dad had talked about it with her and he told her he would try to make an effort.
My sister says Mum looks terrible again. Just like she did a few weeks ago.
She also says dad looks like he's had enough.
please let it be over soon 😞
