Amy I do feel for you and your family. Winter does seem to make depression worse, all you can do is keep a close eye on him.

It is human nature to wish you had said or done more, when a loved one dies, and what makes it worse, is that your Mum is still alive, but unresponsive. Have you tried writing it down Amy? This may help you cope.

yeh, ive written it down and most of the time i am fine.
I think the next 2 weeks are gonna be a bit hard for me though.

I have to put on a happy face though, cause the last time i heard my Mums voice is also my husbands birthday

Don't know how you do it Amy.
Thinking of you.

"Something wicked this way comes!"

So remember dad had a solicitor looking into whether there was a compensation case?
Well, i heard back and yes, they say there is.
They want to go after BlackPool Council for the dangerous pedestran conditions and they want to go after the drivers insurance.

They are a no win no fee solicitor.
They would only take on a case like this if they are sure they can win and they have been looking into it for over a year now.
They think it will more then likely settle out of court.

But, dad has to sign that, if they loose, he is able to cover the opposing legal fees. Which could be about $100 000.
So, he will have to sell his house if they loose.

At first i was against it, but now im not.
dad feels he is doing nothing and this is something that will help him feel like he hasnt given up.
He knows it wont make mum better, but he thinks, if they win, he could get her physio everyday, a better wheelchair and maybe some trips out of the home.
And if he looses, well, he doesnt care cause he knows Mum will never be going home.
He doesnt have anything to loose. He has lost everything that was important to him already
