I'm pretty sure the Honey house is held in place by one screw, and baffle plates on the left, right and rear.

Another fine example of a quick and easy fastening job, ha ha...

I'd like to take it down because it's starting to show some wear  and tear - the heavy rain over the last couple of days means it's drifted past the "Charming fixer upper" stage and into the realm of  "Needs urgent repairs"... ha ha...

I'm thinking that it shouldn't be too much trouble to take it down from the scaffolding tower it sits on...

Not too much... ha ha...

But that will depend a lot on whether there's "Someone" in residence at the time... ha ha...

She didn't seem too impressed by me fiddling around and trying to undo parts of the house, this afternoon ha ha...

She's a temporary visitor - here to visit the Big Boy possum...

I figured that out pretty quickly by the way he was strutting around, this evening, as though he's the Most Magnificent Creature in the Universe, ha ha.

He's a funny one... When there aren't any girls around ,to impress, he's quiet, he's polite, all Mother possum has to do is look in his direction and he makes way for her, ha ha, but when he's the star of the show, he shines as bright as bright, ha ha...

His fleas seem to have cleared up, too. A couple of sprigs of rosemary by the door looks like it's done the trick.

There's something to keep in mind for next time, ha ha...

🙂

It's funny how quick the possums were to throw in their own ideas when I started talking about building a new possum house...

Blame Twynnie for this one.    She got me watching goats.

BTW Twynnie, the babies are 3 months old now and big kids.

I think I was watching it for 3 months....time flies 🙂

Sure does.   I'm still watching them.

They do a wonderful job at GOA.

Lots of babies with neurological and physical problems.

But they're all happy in their new home.

So, I thank you for sharing when Maybel was about to give birth.

She ended up having 4  -   2 boys, 2 girls.

It might be time to dust off those old pallets... I think I've found a new project! ha ha...

I passed a pub, recently, that had a sign up outside; Half price beer and strippers - Friday night...

I was tempted to go in and ask if they specialised in Paint or Wallpaper... ha ha...

DIY jokes, I guess you have to be past a certain age before they become funny, ha ha.
