With Winter looming, my thoughts turn, once again, to warm clothes...

This jacket doesn't look too bad...

Polarfleece, so I know it'll be warm, gathered cuffs so I can push my sleeves up when I do the dishes, rather than having to take the jacket off, or go to the trouble of rolling the sleeves up, and best of all is the print - I can wear it round home, get it absolutely filthy and it won't show the dirt, ha ha...

There's always the added amusement factor the birds, too - they'll delight in calling out "We can still see you!", ha ha...

The satellite shows cloud coming up from the Bight, curling across South Australia and into NSW, but it looks like it's just high cloud.

I've made that mistake, before, ha ha...

What looked like a broad tongue of cloud making it's way diagonally across the Continent over the last couple of days ended up delivering two days of middling to solid rain...

I don't think meteorology's my field, somehow, ha ha...

And now I have the sparrows on my case - I bought an above ground, metal garden bed kit, but I've not ended up putting it together.

Apparently, going by sparrow logic, it could be repurposed into sparrow shelters... "roofs", complete, of course with perching rails, and placed at strategic points around the garden... ha ha...

No amount of my saying "But I might want to use it for it's intended purpose" will work, with them...

They've had the idea, and now they can't see why it's not only a good idea, but why it shouldn't be a priority project of mine... ha ha...

"The possums live here, and you're nice to them... We live here, too... Why aren't you being nice to us?"...

It's a persuasive argument, ha ha...
