Portland hospital is reporting that a man in his 50's sadly passed away today due to this horrible virus 😞

Three Queensland women charged over alleged false border declarations

the partys over girls

The two who were the main cause seem to epitomise a 'I don't give a' attitude.

Too much money spent on 'enhancements' to make them look 'attractive' and an addiction to the selfie.

It is possible that they were in Melbourne stealing handbags.

The reference isn't that good, being Sky News, but it was also on Channel 9 News this evening.

I wish someone in authority would explain why cinemas are still open

An infectious person also watched Jumanji 2 at the centre's Hoyts cinema, sparking another COVID scare.

Or clothing stores, or jewellers......the list goes on.

None of these are any of the 4 reasons for leaving home.

  • to shop for food and essential goods or services
  • to provide care, for compassionate reasons or to seek medical treatment
  • to exercise or for outdoor recreation
  • for work or study, if you can’t do it from home

723 new cases and all these shops/cinemas should all be shut down IMO

Went out with the family for a birthday dinner, counter meal at our local pub. ( In S.A. ) Same night last week the place was packed with around 100 diners. Tonight around 15 in the whole place. It was so quiet it felt like a funeral. I asked the owner what the trouble was. He believes the escalation in interstate Corona virus cases has scared everyone away.

Daughter has just got a new job working in one of the other local pubs. They have been absolutely pumping the last few weeks. This week, dead as a Dodo and all of her shifts cancelled.

The virus may be interstate, but it is killing the economy right around the country.

I did.

I'm not sure in what universe that is considered attractive, but it isn't the one I live in.

Routine test isolation should be exempt for health care workers who show no symptoms - better to have them work a few days infected

Are you serious?

Do you ever read what you post? If so, do you think you have any grasp of reality?

To clarify :

What I am saying is that might be an idea that all should have access to testing via medical accessement but only those diagnosed as displaying clinical symptoms should be obligated to isolate pending official test results.

But for those who are concerned or who may be entering the workforce or returning to school, should have access to testing via medical assessment but no obligation to self-isolate pending test results if judged to display no clinical symptoms

This may encourage more people to submit to testing and so hopefully detect more asymptomatic cases or sub-clinical cases who are positive
