Victoria records 466 new Corona Virus cases. The really alarming bit in the article is that there are currently 998 active cases amongst health workers with an increase of 140 cases since Friday. These people really are laying it all on the line for their communities.Total Respect.

And still people ask, "Is it legal for me to take my 93 year old friend to the supermarket with me?"  They should be asking, "Is it sensible for me to take her?  Is it ESSENTIAL to take her?"  It's gross stupidity and gross selfishness to take someone that age into an environment where they could easily catch the virus, end up in hospital where they could stay for weeks and possibly infect doctors and nurses, when they could stay home and have their shopping done for them?  It's because people worry more about the legalities than what's sensible that Melbourne is in the position it's in.
