was only quaratine - 14 days in a hotel for individuals returning from overseas - what extra wages to consume almost 200 million ?

To validate results the VIC Govt is now arranging effectively double blind testing of those within certain suburbs and encouraging also those with no symptoms to test   

we've gone from over 20,000 active cases to 4...

 

from what I've seen of this virus.  it's frightening how quickly it can spread...  but very hard to get the numbers down once there's been a big outbreak. we had been in lockdown for over a month before there was even any change in the figures, which was a bit depressing
