Hi guys, just messaging, how can we tell if a person has paid for an item, now that paypal is not presently used?

click on the “My eBay” drop down menu and then click on “selling/sold”.  When that page loads you click on “Orders” on the menu bar.  That will take you to the page shown below.  Awaiting postage means the buyer has paid.

Pardon my ignorance (haven't been on the site for ages) but how do people pay now ..... by bank deposit or what?

payment methods show on listings.

 

Buyers can pay with PayPal, credit/debit card or afterpay .

If a seller is on managed payments, buyers can still use PP,  but they pay direct to ebay who then deduct their fees and disperse  the balance to the Seller.

Payment by Paypal for buyers, will continue on ebay until 2023
