Not to mention $7 to post a coin.
Update! I just got a nice reply from the seller. He said he had planned on posting it in a 3kg satchel but the PO had run out and he did notice that the postage cost was much less. He has refunded me the excess. He now has another nice green dot to add to his collection and 4 nice shiny new stars with all their arms and legs.
Proof how communication can make a difference. I just wish all buyers would think to do that instead of just trashing a sellers feedback. Thankfully the couple (literally) of issues that I've had, the buyers have contacted me before taking drastic action.

Also, I notice that classicedge01 seems to have disappeared. Can't imagine why.

I know what you mean. It stinks. ![]()
I was charged $22 postage for a parcel that turned up in an A4 envelope with stamps on it toally $6.
I really wanted the item so I just sucked it up when purchasing even though I thought the postage was excessive, got to say was pretty miffed when the $6 parcel arrived.
Online purchasing for Christmas was a pretty hit & miss experience for me this time. lol![]()

As a newer member to the forums, they may not have been aware we could easily see their selling activities, so may have done a hasty retreat.

That's the thing, if it arrived in a 3kg satchel, even though it was under 500g, this discussion never would have happened. I know plenty of sellers who post everything, regardless of size, in a 3kg satchel as they buy in bulk and only keep one size. I don't have an issue with that as you are getting what you paid for....that is, your item delivered in a 3kg satchel.
I have only trashed someone's postage stars once for excessive postage cost. I was charged US65 and the actual cost was $US10 Not from the US - so not GSP). Seller ignored my messages. I still left positive feedback, but I trashed their stars.
