Haha, there's been more than a few times I've won an auction and then asked the seller politely what's with the excessive post. I reckon 90% of the time it turns out to be a mistake and they've adjusted the postage accordingly.  Sometimes you can tell it might be a mistake cos their other listings have the postage at a reasonable rate. 

They probably lost out on buyers because of the excess post.
