Why would I end the auction early and sell to the highest bidder for the opening bid amount?

When you confirmed your bid you were agreeing to the T&C in the listing as they form part of the contract between the winning bidder and me, it's the law.  If you didn't like that T&C you should not have bid.

And I will happily accept PayPal as stated in the listing.

The listing clearly states "Pick up only", so I don't understand why you are asking me "whats your problem" . . . . unless you have trouble understanding what Pick up only means, which I doubt.

Remember, if you win you enter into a binding contract, that contract includes all the terms and conditions that were present in the contract at the time you bid.  You agreed to that when you confirmed your bid, it's the law.

Just as an aside, here's a screengrab of what I see in my eBay . . . . . a good number of watchers after just one day!

well good luck   thats great news for you , i hope you get plenty for it.

Joe if you win you will need to travel 550kms to pick up the currants, you do realize that don't you?

yes  its a pick up only, i know what that means  i have over 500 of them at any time. i have 14  booked with times  for tomorrow.
