But, I have no plans to ever buy and sell. I just like hanging around forums for things I have absolutely no interest in. I also belong to a site that deals with pottery coffee mugs and power points.

Just cleaning up some of the carp in the office when I found these. I just thought they might be of intrest to some of your power point fans....Smiley Very Happy

Do you have any links to where the ACCC have said taxing a 3rd party transaction was legal?

I doubt that you will get an answer from i-love-my-sheep...she has not posted on the boards since June 2015.

But if it were illegal you can bet someone would have taken ebay to court long before now.

I’ve just been stung with my first eBay invoice. Never again. I didn’t realise that they were charging final value fees on postage as well as the cost to print out the label. Then there’s the PayPal fees. I never charged a buyer more than the actual postage costs. So it turns out it’s costung me $ every time to send something. Hardly worth it when you’re only selling a 1kg book for $5. Total sales in the month including postage paid by buyers was $632 and eBay slugged me with $228!!

There you go. Stop undercutting Pommie sellers. You don't have the economies of scale, or the sweetheart export postage they do.

FVF on postage has been around for about 4 or 5 years now, so it's hardly new.

So how much of that $228 is the postage already paid by your buyers?

I'll hazard a guess at $162.

**bleep** THIS SITE. WHAT A **bleep**ING JOKE. HOW THE **bleep** CAN EBAY DIP INTO MY POSTAGE MONEY..I HOPE CLASS ACTION IS STARTED BECAUSE OF THIS. AFTER PAYPAL AND EBAY TAKE A CUT.MY PROFITE ON A SELL IS ABOUT 10%...GREAT

I hear you man!

So please let me know when you start the class action. Many sellers would also be waiting for a go-getter like you to come along and initiate the class action you are proposing.  I see you as a person who doesn’t sit around waiting for others to act.

Please understand that my support of your class action would need to be in the form of “moral support” as I am not in a position to help out financially as my income these days is $0 per annum.

Go get em!

You relisted the same Reeboks 3 times.

Did you open unpaid item cases to get your fees back?

Cos that would have been a sizeable amount in fees.

All  Most sellers take fees into account and put up the list price.

10% profit is much better than 10% loss

And please don't shout.

Slr sales - you are norti - but I like you
