Is looking at the completed list accurate. I have noticed sometimes it does not show everything.
I used to use a program you subscribed to via ebay that would allow you to see what other sellers had sold in the last 12 months including the dollar amount. It also allowed you to look up 12 months sales history on any items as well.Very handy when selling collectable items.

This has to be the most common question / rant / observation on this forum.
For me, January this year was up 14% year on year. February through April I was well down, about 25% year on year. Then we had an election, and the first interest rate lift and my sales were down even more. Macro economics I think played a role, as did a major new product release within my category which (I believe) caused people to defer spending. July and August have been record months, about 40% up year on year.
That's just my experience. One small seller so make of it what you will.
I do think interest rate rises and inflation sent a shockwave through the economy, causing people to tighten their belts. Then, when they realise the world didn't end, they start spending again. My sales match that hypothesis but I am sure every seller had a different story

I ended all listings, re-listed and have had a few sales. Just going to go with the thought from other sellers that my listings just needed to be refreshed.
You don't need to end and relist to refresh listings. Bulk tick them all on your active listing page, then do a bulk edit. You don't need to change anything in the listings, just tick them all in the bulk editor and submit. Voila, newly refreshed listings!

I'm always hesitant to call sudden fluctuations a trend, but at the moment I think sales will improve when iceberg lettuces fall below $5.

My sales have gone down and viewings and watchers,
I had stopped listing for a few months and started up again recently.
I found then things had changed .
