Guess what, Ebay is fully entitled to take their fee direct from the payment. I am pretty sure they are fully aware of their entity legitimacy, credit standing etc, and are well aware they are able to finace any refund to the buyer if required.
Unfortunately they don't know if you have the ability to refund any payments if required.
