I think 10% is a nice round number, makes it easy to work out ebay's fee will be. Wasn't expecting a charity, but thanks for assuming that's what I meant..

The  FVF  has been 10.9%  including GST, for many years, plus sellers were also charged 2.5% by paypal,   being a total of 13.4%.

Since managed payments came in, about 4yrs ago ebay now charges 13.4%  with no additional financial institution fee.

So before GST and financial fees are included,  it is pretty close to your nice round number.
