I understand what your saying but they didn't have to buy it if that was the case.

I have msg eBay about it i hope they reply.

ring eBay - contact info top right of screen under customer support tab. go to selling - feedback - and follow the prompts

if you wait for them to answer your message, the canned response is likely to resemble one of those jokes that you get in a Christmas Bon Bon (and you won't even get a paper crown or a free toy for your troubles)

if the first person to whom you speak doesn't give you ther answer you want, insist on speaking to a supervisor..... that may help a little bit more, but........

I agree they shouldn't have bought it just so they could give you a neg feedback, would be best if you called Ebay and asked them to remove the feedback as the wording is stating that you are a criminal and that is defemation.

nope - its not defamation..... the term "should" is subjective and places it into the category of "opinion"

OP, read this policy

When eBay may remove or adjust Feedback

know it well, as these will be the points that you will have to counter. So have a reasoned argument ready to go. Don't leave it to think on your feet iykwim. Anticipate their position and have your counter ready to go.

oh dear, so you think because their fb was unfair, and perhaps harsh it is ok for YOU to leave a false positive on their fb page, against ebay rules?

why is it ok for you to break the rules but you expect yr buyer to abide by them?

do you realize that if that nasty buyer puts a complaint to ebay about your feedback YOU are the one who will get a sanction against your selling account?

oops! I believe that is an example of shooting oneself in the foot.

There is a concept known as The Doctrine of Clean Hands.

What this means is that if you seek justice (usually from a Court) that you must do so with clean hands...

oops

Sorry folks the buyer is entitled to leave what ever they like no matter what anyone thinks. It only a reflection of what they thought of the transaction nothing else. And I doubt they will remove it just because the word jail is included in the feedback. They are entitled to there opinion and that's all it is there opinion. Do fret on it just put a follow up comment. Something like buyer never contacted to say there was a problem . Or no contact ever made. I think that is about as good as it will get in this case. If sellers insist on having there negs removed there's not much point in having it at all as sellers can't leave negs for buyers and if they are having them removed it means the whole point of feedback is not only totally pointless but a false reflection of the truth if the negs are continually removed.

Two wrongs do not make a right, an old but true saying and contravening feedback policy yourself does not mean the buyer is now in the wrong.

You say you don't know what was wrong but could it perhaps be the description as vintage, a lot of people take that to mean 50 or more years old.
