I can't list a Playboy magazine. Double standards.
To me, it just needs to be listed in an adults only category, I have no problem with that. It's just a crazy system and the rules & monitoring & policing of those rules is all over the place. All they need is either a Category for Adults Only or Adults Only sub categories Eg, in Books & Magazines & for Chameleon’s match boxes a sub category in Collectables. (But the matchboxes is a joke - well not literally, I just couldn't believe they won't allow them when they allow so much other stuff)
Truth is, I don’t go looking for such items, so there may be categories already, I don’t know, lol.
Seriously, they allow sex toys etc which I would consider far more offensive to many people than anything we've discussed here (and certainly not to be seen by children) – you only have to go to B&M stores to see how they are laid out – eBay need be no different. The products in B&M adults only stores are very well out of view of children and the Gift type stores and Newsagents etc keep the adult merchandise separate. I don’t see why it can’t be the same here.
eBay is so hell bent lately on items being in the correct Categories, where so often they get it wrong anyway over innocent stuff, yet they let this kind of stuff appear almost anywhere – that’s my main issue.
