Okay, so I forgot the 'cha'. As said above - human, can make errors. Hands up all those who've never made one.

I make mistakes almost every day and often more than once a day, so there 🙂
Sometimes you can open a box of stock to find it damaged, your supplier doesn't have more etc. That is not a mistake, it's called life!
Thank goodness the majority of buyers are understanding when things go wrong.
Here is another huge Australian seller that obviously has stock issues http://feedback.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=the_nile_au&&_trksid=p2047675.l256...
I also haven't read all the thread but sometimes you just get a run on a particular product and you miscalculated for whatever reason there are too many variables to list.

This is all part of their "forward" thinking.
Defect the smaller sellers so they will sell elsewhere,(GT would be their preference),
Promise the B & M sellers anything so they'll selll online via eBay,(they wont be given defects as that would
restrict them).
Let Chinese sellers and scammers list as many fake and prohibited items that they can,(as long it's making
money for eBay it will be encouraged).
Encourage shill bidding so that eBay gets a higher return.
Remove all T & S agents as they wont be needed.
Their goal?
To make as much money as they can via any unscrupulous idea they can come up with,(it doesn't matter who
gets hurt as long as the financial outlook looks good to the shareholders).

I doubt it.
I know for interstate and country areas gumtree works well, but in metro Melbourne they will need a massive clean up before a signficant number of small business sellers would ever list there.
Some of the advertisements on there .... eeewwww.....
