Message Re Unable to Send Invoice

I have sold 2 items and are trying to send the invoices I keep getting a message saying

 

"Error unable to send please contact the buyer to check their email address"

 

Has the system crashed again ??

 

anyone else having the same problem today?

No I haven't.

 

However there is a current interesting thread about a seller that has received several of the same messages from a buyer, with some interesting conspiracy theories being posed regarding the buyer of course, not eBay.

Is there any particular reason you need to send an invoice, combined postage for instance. I ever send an invoice unless the buyer requests one or I want to combine postage.

It is probably the same issue re duplicate messages as the message reads that the Email could not be sent.

It did eventually work without the message so maybe there was a glitch

I always send buyers an invoice, if they have not paid... never even occurred to me not to

I always send an invoice too.

 

As I frequently make business purchases on eBay it is such a pain not to get an invoice, and have to ask seller to send one.

 

Slows down the payment process of course.

Helen, there is a thread on the powersellers board re another seller having trouble sending invoices too.

I have experienced something like this before.

eBay could not see any issues on my end (seller) or customers end.

 

I found the problem out myself though - my email address that I used for ebay/paypal was having an issue (domain was offline) - I got that fixed (contact my webhost provider). Got e-mails working - sent invoice again and it worked..

 

Of course could be a different issue for you.

I do send invoicesw but only at the end of day 3 if they haven't paid.
