I would like to see the buyer feedback dialogue returned to its previous arrangement. I will readily indicate whether my experience was positive and add a few succinct words of praise reflecting accuracy of description, value for money and promptness of dispatch. I do not like being 'forced' to give star ratings in order to post feedback. I will comply for the 5 items I have recently ordered but after that I will desist from leaving feedback until the process returns to its previous, convenient form.

Not something other members can do for you
And eBay do not take requests (even in the unlikely event they did read your comment on the member to member forum)

eBay and member suggestions = 🚫∞
❝eBay is always pleased to hear from members of the eBay community and welcomes their comments regarding eBay's products and services. However, eBay's long-standing company policy does not allow eBay to accept or consider ideas, suggestions, proposals or materials other than those eBay has specifically requested.❞
Translation:
Feel-good fluff
The real point: eBay doesn’t want eBay member suggestions.
The exception: eBay will accept member feedback and suggestions when eBay has already made a decision and want member feedback to justify that decision. (Format: questionnaire in rigidly defined structure designed to elicit the response eBay wants.)

so because you dont like a change you are depriving a good seller of feedback. It's not the sellers fault Ebay have changed.
I bet you will still leave it if you have a negative experience

Isn't it voluntary?
I thought you could skip giving stars if you didn't want to.

1482 feedbacks left but I cannot remember EVER leaving negative feedback. I am the seller's customer, they are Ebay's customer. The only thing I can exercise is choice OR maybe try Amazon ?

Exactly you are the sellers customer, but will deprive them of feedback, because Ebay made a change.
