My progress has not been as good as i had hoped, but i think a lot of the pain in my lower back stems from me landing on the road with my legs outstretched in front of me. My spine compacted on impact and it felt like my head was forced down into my chest.
But hopefully i will get some answers soon. I am now learning to walk properly and putting more weight onto my left hip. I have been sleeping outside on a couch for the past 8 months as the bed was too firm and caused more pain. Plus i dont sleep more than a few hours on average and spend a lot of time on my ipad filling in the hours. Post traumatic stress has been one of the results and i am still unable to use the pedestrian crossing or drive through it.
But my limp from the shingles saved me from potential death as even the police officer at the scene agrees that with the speed he was travelling , had i been walking at a normal pace i would have been struck by his bull bar.and been run over . So i am very grateful for that.
I lsadly lost my beautiful cat companion who had slept with me each night for 5 months since the accident and kept me company through many dark hours , and have been missing her terribly. But Mishka has come into my life and brought a smile to my face with her affection and cuddles which is healing in itself. Her cheeky personality is developing as she is starting to rule the house lol
I am still a long way from being able to return to work , and due to the abusive behaviour of my employers i now have a psychological wc claim along with the physical from the accident. Unfortunately i found out that hard work and loyalty are worth nothing in the face of a wc claim. So sadly my recovery has been more complicated than expected.in many ways. But i am extremely lucky to have a very supportive husband who has taken on the housework that i cant do without complaint, for which i am very grateful.

Hello Syrups, have you got photos of Dini and Pillow? Isn't it amazing how EVERY kittie has a different personality!
My sister and b-i-l (he doesn't like cats) were staying here for a couple of nights, Milo did everything he could to win b-i-l over, including sneaking in to their bed, and sleeping at his feet.
He left here loving that cat, and now asks about him when I call them!
