Hello I have recently made two bids on an item and won the bid. I have not confirmed the winning bid and no longer want to purchase the item.

How do I tell the seller I do not want their item any more.

You can't.

A winning bid, is a sale. The seller needs to pay fees on that sale. You are meant to honour, that bid. What you can do, is ask the seller nicely to cancel. They do not have to. If they agree, you must accept the cancellation when you receive an email asking you about it. If you decide just not to go through with it and not pay, the seller can open an unpaid item dispute against you. If you still do not pay you get a strike. A couple of those and you will find a lot of sellers have blocks against you buying set into place.

Best thing is pay for it, and resell or give it away. Try selling it here on eBay 😉
