Seller fails to follow through on resolution offer

OK, so I buy a product that is not as advertised and it fails before I even get to use it. The seller offers a replacement but the item is realy not as advertised or suitable for use. They offer a refund that never eventuates then due to time lapse they then offer me other items which I accept but they never arrive. Then finally after they have fobbed me off with empty promises for long enough it is not an eBay issue any more due to time lapsed since the original purchase and they just say sorry.

LESSON LEARNT Don't let sellers fobb you off with empty promises.

If you don't get what you paid for follow it up ASAP

DON'T BE SO NICE : (

Correct, don't let a seller string you along beyond the deadline to open an eBay case.

You can always open the case then close it once you have a refund.

Good news is if you paid by PayPal, you have 180 days in PayPal to open a case for INAD.

But make sure you opt into PayPal's offer to have items returned covered before opening the case.

Do it now.
