Reading what is written in the court papers the information supplied seems very vague and ambiguous. The police won't take any action because of that. The problem for Hayne is the cost of defending himself over there, and chances of recovering these costs if the case is dismissed are zero.
Recalling cases years ago in regards to stars and/or big names sued by "victims of affairs" a lot of these were "settled (Financially") because of the cost of settling them was a lot cheaper than defending them and suffering the damage to their reputations
