Just letting you know about a scam going around that I nearly fell for.

It's an email from service@ind-paypal.com.au saying that I have had a payment go through for AU-AdCommerce-EOM@ebay.com for AUD $79.30.  It then states 'if you dispute this payment ,please click here and log on'.... 


 


And Ebay, stuff you for making it too hard to resolve issues on here!  None of your questions and answers have EVER answered my dispute and I'm never home or have the time to phone you!

eBay don't read here, it's a member to member forum.

Sadly, that 'scam' is getting rather old now, don't click on any links of course, and thanks for coming here to let us know. As tonyrobbo said, this is a members forum and eBay don't read these, but good to put the info out there for other members

I got 3 of those yesterday and it so did my OH.


There is a thread about these scam emails on the Selling boards.


I seems yesterday was their bulk send out email day.


It is a good thing you saw them as a scam as many click on those links that ask you to sign in and you then give them your PP password.


 


And Ebay, stuff you for making it too hard to resolve issues on here!  None of your questions and answers have EVER answered my dispute and I'm never home or have the time to phone you!


 


What issue do you have? Often you can get it resolved by the members here that reply to ebay related questions.

Yes, this one has done the rounds a couple of times already, best just to ignore it.

Try posting whatever issue you have here and you will get help.  You dont even need to be home to take calls, just read the responses when you are able to :)
