Contact Seller Link Unavailable

I am sorry if I am repeating something already asked. I have searched for this but not found anything. I have been buying from a seller for awhile now and suddenly their Contact Seller link is not visible.  I think in around 15 purchases I haven't had to ask anything, but today I was looking at a potential purchase and needed more info about the item.

I read somewhere on Ebay US and Canada that Ebay is discouraging communication between sellers and buyers. Is this true? I find it ridiculous. How are buyers supposed to get extra info if they can't contact the seller?

The link should be at the end of any auction page.

the ASK SELLER QUESTION link is the very bottom line of any of the sellers auctions/listings

Make sure you have the description selected in a listing and it's at the bottom as "ask a question".

Otherwise select their ID and contact member is in the left margin.

This is ebay AU (Australia) so if you are viewing the listing via ebay.com.au and the seller does not post OS then the contact seller link will not be seen.
