Had you bought this item before? Many years ago this happened to be too I think because the item had the same item number as an item I had bought a couple of months earlier from the same seller. It was the same item, I just decided to buy another one, and I remember I got the same message. This was really years ago. I think this should have changed (I thought it had), as sometimes the second item may arrive in a different condition, be faulty, not arrive at all etc.
