Seller Location is Australia for Store or Listing

I thought that listing as an AU seller meant that the seller is located in AU?

No it means the seller is registered on eBay Australia and lists in $A.

What about when you filter 'Australia Only' and the seller is based in Hong Kong, or Singapore?  I like to know that items are posted from an Australian destination, not from AU stock...whatever that means

If the seller is registered in Australia or lists item location as Australia, then they will show on Australia-only searches.

Tell me about it. I am listing in a category where, unless they are Australian published books, about 75% of listings are from overseas locations. Not counting the item location misrepresenters. Who eBay will not take action against.
