Shopping Cart annoying message

Bloody annoying signal that there's something in the shopping cart only to get the message "Your cart is empty - lets get shopping"

I find ignoring it works. Just like the bell next to it. Just like the current 20% off Microsoft ad. Just like anything else I am not interested in on the page.

I get it too sometimes. It used to worry me that maybe I missed something and when I did go to buy and pay for anything, I'd do a double check there wasn't anything else there in the sale that I wasn't expecting. There never was.

Eventually the cart mark would disappear and show empty again, all by itself.

I've put it down to ebay glitches, annoying for sure. Maybe one day they will get their system on the ball, goodness knows they seem to do enough tinkering all the time.
