I used to be able to hide multiple items in one go, now I have to go into "more actions" and hide one by one.
OMG, what are you doing eBay.

Hide what and where?

Seriously............BM stores, everywhere, all over Australia...........
I think you will end up having a breakdown over eBay if you keep sweating the little stuff
Lyndal - you used to be able to go into purchases and tick boxes to archive, now you have to click on each purchased item and choose Hide Order, I guess that is a huge hassle for some ?
Me. I buy, I pay, I receive, I leave FB, and move on........simples

I have never bothered to archive anything in my life. Ebay will do it for me soon enough.
I must admit I don't like the new layout of Purchases but it is no big deal really.

My outlook exactly,
I know when my transaction is complete, (paid, received, happy with) I let the seller know via pos feedback, and I don't really care what happens to my purchase history list after that, I am too busy looking for my next bargain LOL

So you telling me that you guys do not hide or achive item you have received??

My purchase history shows for the last 60 days (handy because that's the time limit on feedback), I can then go back to 2013 before my purchases are automatically deleted by eBay.......................
And no I don't hide or archive items...............

Each to their own, you know. I am trying to get used to the layout, not keen. I liked the 'archive' option but
then I am someone who likes/needs to document certain purchases. Part of it for insurance purposes,
part of it is the record keeping side of my nature (I also sometimes like to remember who
sold me what, what the exchange was, the list goes on). These days I am tending to take screen shots
(digital image) of the listing page before it disappears, that is probably all I need really

Chezzy, back in the days when I was buying expensive collectibles I kept proper records of my purchases....often a printout of the listing with all the pictures. As most of them came from overseas they had been paid with paypal so I have the receipt with the exchange rate at the time.
For my own peace of mind I photograph my cabinets every year around Christmas/New year and keep the photos with my insurance policy...it is also a quick way to see when I bought the item......if it is in this year's photo but not last years then I bought it during 2014.
I do much the same with any jewellery that is worth insuring but everyday pieces are just photographed for a record for myself..
These days I rely on my paypal records a lot......they are available (as elegantly put by the poster above) from the beginning of time.
I have used paypal since long before it was acquired by ebay and called paypal.....transferring funds between Australia and family members in Canada and the USA.
I find 60days is plenty of time to be able to see the items in my Purchase history before ebay automatically archives them for me and if I need them again it is just as easy to go into my Archives and find them.

Jeeesus, I was going to stir someone up, now I find you're still awake....................
P.s. I'm with you, I've still got all the hard copies from my first buys on eBay......................and if the "improvements" were much better for sellers then I'd be a buyer and a seller....................hmmmm.
