Tracking international parcels

Some time ago I remember seeing a link posted here to track international parcels.  Stupidly, I neglected to bookmark it at the time and I can't remember who posted it.  Can anyone help?

I am waiting for a parcel (not eBay related) that I'm pretty sure is coming from China.  It was posted on 29 November and the estimated arrival date was 23 December.  I haven't chased it yet because of the busy time of the year and all the days Aust Post have been closed but would like to see if I can locate it now.

A lot of chienese items do not show up with tracking at all what I do is also put it in mypost https://auspost.com.au/mypost (free to sign up) and it usally shows there whene it hits Australia you can also just try http://auspost.com.au/track/track.html and see if it is in Australia.

It can take up to 2 weeks after landing to be delivered in Aus

Sorry it didn't work for you amber, just a thought have you tried your local PO? They have a system that may find it - it's different to the normal AP site that we can use on the net.

Might try that tomorrow.  I have a Post Box and they know me pretty well in there so if they aren't busy I'll get them to have a hunt for me.

A large percentage of items from China never show up in the tracking what I do is add it to mypost https://auspost.com.au/mypost it usually gets tracked when it hit Australia, if it is going through aus post, a higher percentage show up there than in the Chinese tracking if it is in Aus you can also try tracking it at http://auspost.com.au/track/track.html if you do not want to use mypost.

sorry thought I had posted this earlier must not of hit post or something 🙂

I've found that most of the time China Post doesn't show up in tracking until it's nearing its destination. Sometimes it doesn't show up until it's delivered.

There are numerous different tracking sites you can try, but chances are they'll all say the same. Still worth checking though. Last time I forgot what they above mentioned site was, I just googled "track China post" and got a list of quite a few. One did show a bit more info than the others, but I couldn't tell you which one it is.

Thanks *tippy*toes*, I've tried a few and am not getting anywhere.  Will check at the PO tomorrow and see what they say.

24/7, when you post links to AP pages, there seems to be a delay in them appearing for some reason. Not sure why that is. You did hit the post button. Sometimes they sit in cyberspace for 12 hours before showing up. It only seems to happen with AP pages.
