What is going on with Paypal payments with 2 sellers unable to claim funds?

I have made 2 payments in 2 weeks with neither seller able to claim. I have cancelled one purchase because seller would not provide alternative payment details despite repeated contact and the other provided bank details. As Paypal must be included as a payment option can ebay sort out these issues.

They are unlikely to be ebay issues....more likely the sellers have done something wrong with their listings and they need to sort it out with paypal.

I hope you realise the the first sign of a scam is the seller "having trouble with their payal account".
I hope you will not regret using bank deposit.

No, eBay can't.

it is up to the seller to have valid Paypal details if they offer Paypal as a payment option.

If you cannot pay, the seller has not put correct Paypal email details in their listing or they are scammers.

Either way, I would look for other sellers for the items you are interested in.
